Connection issues

Well, i have an iphone 5s with iOS 9.3.2 and the connection between my d7200 is disgusting, it is completely laggy and i cant even use the liveview in the Phone. Nikon could you please update this app?

What about the icon to download videos?

Previous version used to have it, now only with Samsung I was able to download the videos...

Useless

Doesnt work with D5500 and iPhone 6s

Horrible

Spent good money on an awesome camera and this app is dreadful. "Select All" does not work forcing you to tap each photo individually to download.

Whats the point

Youre advertising that this app is for Nikon digital cameras with wifi built in capability yet you dont support S810c?! And why would that be?

Very limited and frustrating to use

It frequently disconnects. The background is white making night shots intrusive. It wont connect when "remote shutter speed" is configured (as in controlled by switch rather than timed). To me, thats what the app should serve to do but it intentionally prevents connection instead. Very disappointing product.

Works great, but needs enhancements

Pairing between iPhone 6plus and D750 is done in 5 easy steps. Thumbnail view of existing photos on camera is loads quickly. Download options for quality exist if you only download one picture at a time. Would be nice if you could download several pictures at one time at original resolution rather than an optimized (automatically lower) resolution.

Nikon Photographer

Shooting with the Nikon D5500 and being such a great camera, the Nikon WMU is really disappointing. Only having basic remote trigger and focus is entry level. Where is the ability to control settings such as aperture and shutter speed. What about remote video controls and the ability to zoom. The app hasnt been updated in 14 months! Hello - Nikon?

Finally works on my IPhone and IPad

This app wasnt working on either with my Coolpix camera (which I have since traded in) nor with my D5300. Finally got it yesterday. Turn the Bluetooth on. Please note that I did not see this in any of the instructions. Its a rather important step. Notice it also hasnt been updated since April of 2015. Apple had updated their operating system -- shouldnt this app be updated as well.

Slow and cant download

Very slow live view is painful to watch. Using a D7100, took a photo in raw with normal JPEG and the image failed to download - not sure which it was trying to transfer. Definitely returning the WU-1a E adapter as it doesnt work

Weak app for a strong compagny

I was hyped to use the wifi option on my D5300. I do not have access to a computer when travelling so photo transfer between my camera and my smartphone could be pretty useful. This app, the only free one that I know, wont allow transfer of several pictures in original format at the same time. It is fine when you have 2-3 pictures but when you want to ipload to a cloud services a thousand pictures, it is a long and tiresome process. Nikon make

D5300 & iPad Pro

It works okay, but can use improvement. Sometimes connecting is glitchy, says it is connected in iPad settings but in app it does not. Also, having to choose the timer option every time I want a countdown is a pain. More options would be great. But, it works!

Clunky

Slow, drops connection a lot and is frustrating to use. I ended up giving up on trying to use the app and the adapter and just used the self timer

Almost unusable

Ive used the WU-1a with WMU on a D5200 and a D7100 and its really bad. As often as not you lose the connection or it simply hangs, and transfers are amazingly slow. I cant decide if its the software or the WU-1a hardware but either way I would not have bought this had I known how unreliable it is. Surely Nikon can fix something so basic.

Thanks Nikon!

All though the app still needs many features (change camera settings from app when remote shooting, better transfer options, etc), this update brings much needed interface refresh. The resolution across iPhone and iPad is now native, which is great for viewing photos. Thank you for not forgetting WMU after snapbridge.

Total disappointment, no setting at all

Seriously? You guys dont even make your own sensor, and this app just do nothing! What age are you guys living in? Wifi camera control cant even change Aperture, Shutter, ISO? Man... Sony, Panasonic are doing almost full control! No wonder many people are switching to Sony! I may be one of them soon!

簡単に接続できました。

Nikon S6900で使用してます。 簡単にWi-Fi接続設定出来て iPhoneをシャッター代わりになり とても便利です。

Awesome!

I dont usually review apps, but after reading all the negative reviews and seeing this app has only 2 stars as a result, I just had to! I read several reviews and noted that it was important to put your phone in airplane mode, so without reading another instruction, I downloaded the app, turned the wifi on on my camera and I could see through my camera lens on my phone screen! The camera would focus on whatever I wanted it to and I touched the screen and click. These shots also automatically saved in my phone. Totally thrilled with this app, it just opened up a whole new world for me!!! Hope to see this apps rating climb up to where it should be- 5+

Wifi adapter was a waste of money

This app is hands down one of the worst I have ever used. Inconsistently connects and remains connects to the camera. A scam in my opinion.

Mother F-Ing WONT WORK!! Piece of Shat!

I absolutely hate this thing. Whomever programmed this pile of dog shat needs to die in a horrible death.
