Video transfer (AW120)

Please make it possible to transfer videos from Nikon AW120 to iPhone. And start/stop video recording in remote mode.

Problems with connection

Incorrect working of wifi connection

WILL YOU GUYS UPDATE THIS APP ALREADY

APP IS USELESS!! Freezes and crashes every single time. They havent updated it in over a year and in the result of newer iOS updates the app just doesnt function as suppose to. Cannot download a single photo onto my iPhone 6Plus. You are better off buying the Lightning to SD cable instead. Paid $30 for this stupid wifi adapter that dont work.

Slow and constantly disconnects

This app has potential if it wasnt so slow and if it would disconnect all the time. Please fix this problem asap

Changing exposure

So it works fine with taking pictures from my phone, but you cant change your aperture, shutter speed, or ISO from your phone. You have to disconnect from your phone to change those. With the canon app you can easily change your settings. FIX THIS NIKON!!!

Works good, sometimes!!

Longtime Nikon user ( 8-10 different cameras and lenses) Totally disappointed with this product. Dont know if it is the transmitter or the app. When it actually works, it is ok, but disconnects from camera repeatedly. As a pro, I can shoot a thousand pictures at one setting and trying to download the photos to both my iPhone and iPad with this current technology is awful!! This app or the transmitter only seem to work well 10% of the time. I would never have purchased my D7100 if I knew that this was such a piece of junk! Definitely needs a firmware or app upgrade!!!

Works well

Works well, does it what I need it to do. Would give 5 stars if it had iPad compatibility

Works perfect with no issues

Ive been using this app for over a year now and have never had any issues. I use it a few times monthly for quick downloads and using the app as a remote. Works great!!

Good except no way to choose size of image to transfer

Others have said that a dialog box comes up right before you download asking what size you want to save the picture is that you are transferring, however on my current version of the app just downloaded, no such box ever comes up so I only get a small version of the pictures Ive downloaded. Does anyone know why this is and I certainly hope the developers will check into this. Otherwise, easy to set up and use if you have done camera wifi connections before. No glitches, no crashes so far.

Easy!!!

I had no issues with connecting my Nikon P610 to the app. Downloading pictures from the camera to the phone was very fast and easy. All pictures transferred with no issues and came out perfect.

Implemented by novices

The UI freezes when you take photos. I can also feel my phone getting hot when I use the app. My guess is infinite loops and poor UI thread programming. This app is obviously not a priority for Nikon. Nikon if youre not going to fix these bugs put this app out of its misery and release the APIs for the adapter so somebody else can take a shot at it.

App works fine with Wu-1a adapter!

Follow the directions exactly and use your head. Takes pictures and videos from my D3200 and transfers wirelessly to my iPhone 6.. Exactly what it needs to do. The end.

Wow

This app is a joke. Newest iPhone phone. New camera. This app freezes every minute. Waste of time. Ill never understand why companies as big as Nikon continue to make worthless apps.

Disappointing & a battery life killer

This app works but just barely. The thumbnails of your pictures you see are so blurry its hard to decide which ones to transfer to your phone. More annoyingly, this app drains my iPhones battery life faster than anything else Ive ever done on it. If I use this app for 5 minutes (not an exaggeration) or even less. My phone loses 20-30% battery life in that time. Its ridiculous.

Did exactly what I needed it to do, effortlessly.

Using set up instructions from thomasdmiller review (thx!) the app configured itself and my coolpix S7000 photos were transferred to my phone in seconds. Very happy.

Needs interface overhaul, iPad version

Works ok, very bare bones. Would love to see a high resolution image on the iPad instead of in 4x iPhone mode. Please update this app!

Does not work, even in airplane mode

I never write reviews but I am writing this one in hopes that an update will be released! I have IOS 9 and this app does not work at all with my D3300. I can connect to the wireless but the moment I want to select photos to download it disconnects every time. The airplane mode trick does not work for this issue. I have tried everything and am very disappointed.

No original size?

This app is simply garbage because you can only choose to transfer an optimal or VGA sized picture, butch of which does not stand even slightly cropping. I understand Nikon is a crappy company in making software, but please at least allow third parties to make apps for your cameras if you screwed it. Whats the point of buying a 24-mp camera and transfer only 4-mp images?

Worked just fine!

Just downloaded it and used it, and I didnt experience any issues at all, despite the poor reviews on here. Gave it 4 stars because I havent used it enough to determine if its really a 5 star app, but I used it effortlessly and without issue. Super simple - the way I like it!

Wish there was a 0 star

Will not stay connected to camera. Glad I spent the money on the adapter!
