Wireless Mobile Utility App Reviews

Disappointing ....

I bought a Nikon D7200 camera because of the ability to live view and control the camera via app.... I need the app because unlike competitive products with folding screens this device doesnt have that.... So at the very least Id like to be able to focus/start and stop recording... This doesnt have that option... And it also doesnt allow you to change any settings at all... Its basically a file transfer app... I have no idea why this app doesnt support start and stop recording for video...

Really bad

Forget about wifi on Nikon, its not reliable at all, Im very disappointed. I cant tell if its the app or the cameras firmware but getting connected is like playing the lottery.

Macau Nikon User

Own a DF and D600, both connection to this APP without any problems around a year ago with my iPhone 6, seldom connecting the WU-1A and WU-1B with this APP, however, after updating to the latest version 1.4.2.3003, I was not able to connect successfully with my iPhone 6s, WiFi shows connected, but APP response NOT Connected. I was never able to use the remote and transfer photos to my iPhone. In the mean time, before going to travel, I have to switch my Camera to another brand during my next traveling.

Horrible

Wont connect - use to connect but since the update the app no longer connects to the camera - pathetic

Cant use with iPhone 6s

Is it just me? I can not use it with my Nikon Coolpix SS9900. I had a Sony Xperia before and it worked just fine. Now, with my iPhone 6s I am unable to use it.

Wicked Awesome

App works great with my D750, Im no rocket scientist and I got it to do what it is supposed to do.

Needs a major update

Plzz add movie recording from the app and make it quicker it is so slow

Doesnt work

Sucks and doesnt work with my D7100

Wi-Fi使えないじゃん(o´・ω・)

まったく接続出来ない…>_<…

Wi-Fiに接続出来ません

最初は接続出来たのに出来なくなりました。対応お願いします。 D5300、iPhone6です

Needs to be improved

More features need to be added. Also iphone 5 display is missing.

Small view

On iPad it seems just like iPhone screen. Please upgrade it for full iPad screen...

Funny stuff...

Now go and add joining infrastructure networks to cameras firmware, and wifi access to networked cameras to your desktop programs. Yes Ive seen eye-fi. No I wont be using it. Especially not in a camera with built in wifi module.

Good application

Its really usefull but some improvements needen, like we can not find on ipad when we search we have to use other ways like first install iphone and thn from downloaded section we have to redownload to our ipad.

Bad

Cant transfer video. There is no iPad version.

Auto off((

Please make feature to prevent iphone to go to sleep whole downloading photos because its reset whole downloading process(

Very good!

A least it works… well, kind of

Whoever wrote this app had spent a lot of time making it pain to use. First of all: it doesn’t store any settings, so whatever option you checked you have to re-check at each program start as it returns to defaults. Second: if you want to download more than one image you might be surprised with good old VGA resolution. Wanna higher res on your iPhone: check ONLY ONE photo, click on download, select “Full resolution” and confirm your selection. Wanna change camera setting: disconnect the app, change setting on the camera body, reconnect the app, re-check all your options within the app, take a picture. Somehow, I expected a bit more from such a brand as Nikon.

Missing feature (one of...)

It will be awesome to have some little timer on the screen while taking pictures in bulb mode, so we can see how long actually exposure is.
